Course aims
To provide the basic knowledge of trends in Estonian literature
Brief description of the course
The general trends of Estonian literature are discussed, the focus is either on a specific period, some authors or specific topics. The examples of Estonian literature in English translation are read and discussed in the seminars and an analytical essay on one book is written
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- has ability to understand the main trends in Estonian literature and has achieved the knowledge of a specific period or topic.
