Course aims
Support students in learning basic knowledge of Estonian contemporary culture: theatre, film and popular culture.
Brief description of the course
Overview of the development of Estonian theatre and film, the main aspects of contemporary Estonian theatre and film. Most important examples of modern theatre and film. The current situation of Estonian popular culture.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- has basic knowledge of the history and the present state of Estonian theatre and film. Basic knowledge of contemporary Estonian popular culture.
