Course aims
To develop prerequisites for the acquisition of oral and written language skills in Chinese at B2.2 level according to the European Language Portfolio. The course is designed to target the students whose command of Chinese equals to B2.1 level according to ELP.
Brief description of the course
The course covers some knowledge of language learning strategies and communicative strategies,help students gain Chinese cultural knowledge and acquired preliminary cross-cultural awareness.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
Produce correct tones and intonation patterns in everyday conversations,use correct liaison and tone changes.
Know the patterns of Chinese words.
Master 300 Chinese characters (ideograms) toward proficiency in the four skill areas.
Master about 1000 Chinese words.
Know and master the pattern "是……的(shi ……de)",more complex compound sentences.
