Brief description of the course
Attribution Theory, Personality Model (e.g. disease-prone personality, Type A, Type D), Health Belief Model, Health Locus of Control Theory, Self-Efficacy Theory,
Biopsychosocial model, Theory of Reasoned Action and Theory of Planned Behaviour,
(also Interpersonal Behaviour), Goal-Directed-Behaviour, Unrealistic Optimism Theory,
Transtheoretical- Stages of Change- Model, Protection Motivation Theory, The Health Action Process Approach, Theory of Social Learning, Self-regulation Theory.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- knows the most important models and theories of health behaviour;
- can analyze models and theories of health behaviour.
