Course aims
To support students readiness independently support technical, tactical and psychological preparations for one-day hike's/hiking groups; and plan, conduct and analyse one-and two-day hiking activities.
Brief description of the course
Participation in extracurricular seminars/lectures related to outdoor leadership
Independently choose outdoor leadership practice places/experiences
Analyse practice experiences
submit „tour report“ on performed outdoor leadership experiences and present it in seminar.

Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- is able to lead independently chosen type of outdoor activity (hiking on foot, on water, by bike, on snow) following safety requirements;
- knows principles of group behaviour and communication during the hike;
- knows outdoor terminology and techniques in chosen type of activity;
- can purposefully use the techniques and terminology related to chosen outdoor activity;
- knows basics of physical development;
- can analyse outdoor experience.
