Course aims
The basic goals of the module are to provide actual information about EU social policy and instruments, to give Good-Practice-Examples of employment and social development in Europe. The personal benefits include competence to apply EU policy instruments
Brief description of the course
This course will illustrate social policy, problems and trends in Europe and the reaction of the EU by the structural and regional policies. Detailed aspects will include the main fields of EU social policy strategies, including the transformation processes in the future member countries and the consequences of an EU-enlargement.

Upon completing the course the student:
