Course aims
To support formation of competence of area of opportunities of stylistic means of Russian, and also in the field of the stylistic analysis of ready texts.
Brief description of the course
Main elements of functional styles. Genres and stylistics of the speech. Esthetic form of the text, language coherence. Category of the addressee, communicative situations. Category of the author and possibility of the author. Style and norm. Concept of individual style. Consideration of practical stylistics.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- knows features of styles and genres of the text;
- is able to use receptions of the practical stylistic analysis at creation of texts;
- knows dictionaries which help to analyze and correct texts;
- is able to distinguish social functions of language, and also to connect them with speech forms.
