Course aims
To promote formation of the competence in the field of the Russian Language stylistics and analysis of texts.
Brief description of the course
Stylistic and pragmatic features of the text. Two basic properties of the text: coherence and integrity. The author and the addressee of the text. Space, time, emotive background in the text. Concept of individual style. Style and language norm.
Independent work: Preparation of abstracts, reports and presentations.

Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
