Course aims

To go through all the steps of research: preparation, data collection, methodology, writing and defending

Brief description of the course

Students submit their ideas for research papers and get assigned supervisors. Together with the supervisor the students prepare a paper plan with research questions, mehtod, theory and empirical ideasl. After a sucessful defense of the plan, the students compile their research papers and defend them in front of a committee.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- can plan their research activities;
- knows different mehtods and can use at least on of them;
- can compile and present their research work;
- can evaluate and analyse other people’s research.
