Course aims

1. To link didactical knowledge with the school´s reality,
2. To support students´ ability to communicate with his/hers school-family in his/hers role as a (future) teacher,
3. To enable students to gain experiences and to grow and develop as teachers

Brief description of the course

Practice will be carried out in the II and III stage of Elementary School. The action plan for practice period will be composed in cooperation with the school´s supervisor/instructor. The general principles for organizing human studies class will be introduced. Teachers´ health education, communication studies and human studies classes will be listened and analyzed. In cooperation with the supervisor the preparation for classes, independent conducting of the classes and subsequent analyses will be carried out. Consultations with the supervisors, communication with the school-family, filling in the practice/training map, participation in seminars.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- knows how to take into consideration the objectives of education, and national and school´s curriculum, while planning learning and educational process. Makes connections/links between different subjects of matter while teaching.
- uses the knowledge, language and methods which are substance-related, and meet the students´ peculiarity and age, while carrying out learning and educational process.
- analyzes learning and educational process and one´s actions according to the set objectives and basic documents and on this basis knows how to plan further actions.
