Brief description of the course
In this praxis student looks-hears 10 side-subjects in elementary school and afterwards he/she give 18-20 lessons byher/himself. Student must fill praxis diary.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- plans and carries out the learning and education process, based on the goals of education, the national and school curriculum and analyzing the specific characteristics of learners, developmental needs and the context of the learning environment;
- applies and adapts subject didactic knowledge and methodological techniques, using strategies suitable for the learner's age and developmental level, in order to support students' deep learning and the development of subject knowledge and skills;
- uses formative assessment and diverse feedback to support the development of learners, analyze the effectiveness of the learning process and plan further learning activities;
- integrates subject knowledge with supporting general competences, study skills and social-emotional development, creating connections between different subjects and subject areas;
- analyzes and reflects on his teaching practice and the development of learners, connecting theory and practice and applying a research and systematic approach to self-development;
- acts as a professional and ethical teacher, cooperates with supervisors and colleagues and is based on the professional ethics of the teacher and the operating principles of the school.
