Course aims
To create prerequisites for the understanding about Estonian geosystems. To support the development of skills for analytical thinking and data (global or local) generalization
Brief description of the course
Review of different Estonian geosystems: wetlands (rivers, lakes, bogs, coastal areas), active coastal areas, small islands, areas with varied relief, plains, areas with high human impact.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
Knowledge of Estonian geosystems and their (landscape) ecological functionality. Ability to analytically discuss about different geosystems.
