Course aims
Compulsory subject. To introduce the students to the basics of the biogeochemical cycle of chemical elements and compounds on Earth.
Brief description of the course
The framework for a class in geochemistry, the geochemistry of elements and geochemical barriers as concepts widely used in the landscape, environmental and applied geochemistry. General features of the geochemical classification of natural and technogenic landscapes.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
Class work, academic reports on the given topic and their discussion. Participation in class work is recommended. Attendance in seminars and discussions is mandatory.
