Course aims
Developing oral expression skills of students: ability to use also more complex constructions in speech and sense stylistic differences.
Developing the skill of argumentation. Participation in the course presupposes previous proficiency of Swedish at no less than A2 level.

Brief description of the course
Shorter oral presentations on simpler topics. Different discussions on actual topics. Expressions used in everyday situations. Differences of style. Slang. Individual and group work. Presentations, introductions. Retelling. Oral summaries of texts. Process-based learning presupposes participating in classroom work.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
The skill to present your viewpoints and defend these. The skill to choose the right register depending on the topic and lecture room. The skill to use different dictionaries and reference books. The ability to express your opinions on simple subjects using A2 level vocabulary
