Course aims
To develop students' music playback skills (based on written material) both orally and on a (digital) piano.
Brief description of the course
Practical application of skills acquired in previous semesters (courses KUM6254.FK Musical Hearing, KUM6255.FK Musical Literacy and KUM6257.FK Polyphony and Practical Harmony), based on a written note: including prima vista (without prior preparation) and singing of selected melodies loading (incl. if possible, using your favorite instrument to play the melody / harmony); playing the prima vista of harmony sequences based on star harmony, Roman numerals and number bass; playing a score in contact teaching in a small group on a digital piano (incl. classical and film music); playing a simple score into a recording or listing program; reproduction of prima vista contemporary music: introduces the prescriptive visualization possibilities of music (various parameters such as pitch, rhythm, harmony, dynamics, etc.) (graphic notation and score), creates short graphic scores in pairs and plays them with the prima vista voice, Orff and such activities are associated with the foley principles applied in film music - analogous to the “video score” (tasks left unfinished in class activities are continued as independent work).
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- is able to sing and perform piano music in various keys and styles (including contemporary and film music) without prior preparation (prima vista) and to play sequences of star harmony on the piano.
