Course aims
- Support the acquirement of a wide range of knowledge and skills in handicraft;
- The aim is that the student uses different possibilities to design textiles, making fabrics/items using handicraft tools while considering the characteristics of the material and following the work- and environment safety rules.

Brief description of the course
Re- and sustainable use of textile when creating new textile material. Free creation and design process.Creation of a portfolio filled with gathered information and samples. Work is then presented.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- uses specialized knowledge to raise questions and to answer them, combines theory and practice;
- designs textiles based on the fundamentals of composition and color and the specific course;
- plans the creative work from the idea to completion, presents and analyses it.
