Course aims
The objective is to develop psychotherapeutic thinking and introduce the principles and methods of therapeutic application of narrative theatre, psychodrama and drama. The emphasis is on practical work and personal experience, which serves as a basis for the acquisition of the way of thinking and primary skills for the application of these methods in professional work.
Brief description of the course
The role and opportunities of the three action methods: narrative theatre, psychodrama and drama therapy in the work with people with special needs. Topics: people with special needs around us. Being as a quality of life. Joy; Responsibility; Shame; Guilt; Death – topics that form the backbone of the work with people. Meeting the past and the disease. An uninvited guest – how to treat it. Our work – to be good and admit your own bad.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
Experience of being a group member, experience of helping roles. Experience of the roles of protagonist and director.
