Course aims
To introduce the piano repertoire of romanticism. To introduce the students the primary methods of children`s songs accompaniment. To teach the ability of a future music teacher to chose creatively and appropriately age-related repertoire and present it attractively to the students.
Brief description of the course
Cycles and miniatures, dances and etudes of several authors – Schubert, Schumann, Chopin, Liszt etc.
Scales with flats, reading music. Accompaniments to songs from primary school (classes 1–6) songbooks.

Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- masters freely the aforementioned repertoire
- knows appropriately styles and forms
- masters a pair of scales in maximum pace
- obtains skills to accompany the children´s songs with soloists and ensembles
