Course aims
To introduce the combined meter conducting technique through the musical literature of the world. To support the student in perfecting their conducting technique and working with scores.
Brief description of the course
Conducting combined meter, developing hand independence, distinguishing the characteristics of various music styles, perfecting score playing.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- can define the internal structure of combined meters and meter skills, can analyse and play complicated scores.
