Course aims

To give students a systematic and methodically correct knowledge of guitar playing techniques, to develop the practical skills of playing, to acquire common musical knowledge. Giving music teachers such knowledge so that they would be able to perform simpler melodies on a guitar.

Brief description of the course

During one semester the student will have a possibility to obtain practical knowledge and skills in handling guitar.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
Acquired basic knowledge and skills of the guitar playing technique;
Student be capable of playing Major and Minor scales up to the 3rd key signature, etudes and short pieces.
