Course aims
The objective of the course is to support the willingness of a student of the field of technology to integrate the physical-science basis with specialty studies.
Brief description of the course
Fields of study of technology and study programme groups. Theoretical and professional placement study of the technical field. Didactic aspects of technical education, including the basis of integration. The implementation of knowledge of physical sciences and integrated knowledge in technical education: integration of physics, chemistry and mathematics in technological education. Shaping integrated knowledge. Special characteristics of the learning environment in technical education, technical study materials and other educational materials. Technical tasks such as lab work, practical courses and field trips. Creating integrated tasks.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- analyses the didactic system of technical vocational training on the basis of the study programme of their specialty, highlighting aspects of the integration of the physical sciences in their specialty;
- analyses the study materials of technical vocational training by observing its purpose, timeliness, didactic expedience and aspects of the integration of physical sciences;
- compiles learning tasks in the field of technology by integrating knowledge of the physical sciences.
