Course aims
To create prerequisites for: understanding the role, profession, field of activities and context of an andragogue, researching competence and its formation, self-reflection of an andragogue, raising awareness of professional development opportunities, having knowledge about the professional ethics and values of an andragogue.
Brief description of the course
Roles, fields of activity and contexts of an andragogue - supervision, covision and coaching. Reflexive practices of an andragogue in various fields of activity. Critical reflection. Competence of an andragogue, formation of competence from work in the learning process. Self-development of an andragogue. Naturalness in teaching, ethics and a sense of responsibility in the work of an andragogue.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- distinguishes the various fields of activity and contexts of an andragogue, including supervision, covision and coaching as support mec is conscious about naturalness and the role of ethics and responsibility in their work;
- understands the different roles of an andragogue in the development of adults;
- possesses a grounded concept of the competence, professionalism and professional development of an andragogue;
- is able to restore their work resources and raise overall;
- is conscious about naturalness and the role of ethics and responsibility in their work;
- analyses themselves and interprets their development. Is able to manage the professional self-development process of themselves and other adults.
