Course aims

Create opportunities for the recognition and development of the social identity of an adult educator, for analyzing, developing and the use of social and communicative skills in specific practice and context of activity.

Brief description of the course

Social identity of an adult educator and its development. Social abilities and readiness of an educator. Analysis of the educator´s interaction and behaviour models in educational activity and in using different methods. Characteristic and social resources of an educator and their analysis.
Self-image and interaction. Means of interaction and personal impressiveness. Means of self-reflection.

Content of independent work: self-analysis, video analysis, case analysis, compiling a development portfolio

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
Student:
- understands his/her own social capabilities in training;
- defines his/her own development perspectives as an adult educator;
- knows own personal and social resources.
