Course aims

Create opportunities for understanding and directing adult education as a process; readiness for planning, conducting and assessing an educational course (subject course).

Brief description of the course

Adult education as a process (planning, conducting and assessing the training). Administering and directing an educational process. The basics and principles of the selection and combining of methods, procedures and means used in adult education.
Planning, conducting and analyzing an educational course as an educational process.
Content of independent work: planning an educational process based on a justified selection of methods and procedures, compiling an educational programme, conducting a course, analyzing.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
The student:
- understands the wholeness of an educational process
- can plan, conduct and assess an educational process and learning process;
- knows and uses different methods;
- analyzes and gives feedback after using a particular method;
