Course aims
Goals:
To support the coherent application of educational knowledge and skills in school life (first grade);
Link didactic knowledge to school realities - about the life-integrated teaching of different subjects in the 2nd or 3rd grade and the cooperation between students and the teacher (including the parent), as well as about valuing students' extracurricular activities
To support students' ability to communicate with the school family in the role of (future) teacher;
To enable the student to gain experience and develop as a class teacher.

Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- is able to consider the objectives of education, national and school curricula planning teaching and educating process for the first stage of school;
- creates links between different subjects and theme fields while teaching;
- uses the knowledge, vocabulary and methods according to pupils’ age and peculiarities, which correspond properly to the subject;
- is familiar with the job of a form teacher;
- analyses the teaching and educational process and his/herr activity in cooperation with their supervisors accoding to the planned objectives and basic documents, is able to plan his/her further activity proceeding from it; prepares a teaching kit during the practice, followes requirements to its content and form;
- followes rules of politeness and the practice of the school, proceeds from the teacher’s ethics, during his/her practice cooperates with his/her supervisors and other people connected with their practical training.
