Course aims

Develop prerequisites for a primary school teacher to acquire necessary knowledge and skills to find the way in the subject of visual arts.

Brief description of the course

Classical and contemporary types of art, e.g. painting, sculpture, photography, etc.
Applying types of art in the creation process of two- and three-dimensional works of art.
Parts of creation process – studying, planning, creating and analyzing.
Developing self expression skill through different tools and methods of art.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- understands and analyzes art phenomena;
- has knowledge and practical skills related to the field of visual arts;
- tries and analyses the creation process.
