Course aims
Provide options to apply theoretical knowledge and skills and to connect theoretical knowledge with practical experiences.
Brief description of the course
Practice will conduct in schools having long time experience in remedial/supportive teaching. Practice period is divided into two parts: classes for younger and older pupils. Student introduces with management of remedial teaching in the school and teaches in the selected classes. Student compiles the set of learning materials.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- has skills to observe lessons in school;
- analyses remedial program lessons;
- has experiences in planning, conducting and analyse remedial teaching program lessons;
- has teamwork experience in solving the problems of students in need of study assistance.
