Course aims
The objective of the course is to provide knowledge and introduce practical skills in order to develop digital games. Participants learn to use one game development environment (e.g. Unity).
Brief description of the course
Game development process, overview of game development tools; introduction to selected environment (e.g. unity); general layout of the working area and tools; recommended workflow; creating game objects; creating gameplay; 2D game creation; 3D game creation; animations; physics; UI
Independent work
Independent assignments: 3D game world; interactive game objects; 2D game; 3D game; creative project.
Learning outcomes in the course
In the end of the course students:
- have overview of different game development tools;
- know in details how to implement a game in selected (e.g. Unity) development environment.
Assessment methods
Assessment result will be formed from the results of smaller assignments performed during the entire course. For achieving the assessment result students have to attend 75% of contact sessions and submit 75% of assignments on time and with sufficiently high quality.

Format of the course is the workshops and individidual development tasks.
