Course aims
The students are given an overview of the history, geography, culture and politics of the United States of America, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. The topics are illustrated with pictures and video material.
Brief description of the course
The United States of America: general description, geography, states. Native Americans. Discovery of America. History of the USA. Politics in the USA. National holidays and traditions in the States. Famous Americans. Australia: geography, Aborigines, history, cities. New Zealand: general description, geography, history. Canada: general description.
