Course aims
Seminar aims at giving a survey of recent developments in translation studies (postcolonial translation theories, gender studies, etc) enabling the student to find an individual field to study more closely on MA level.
Brief description of the course
Close reading and analysis of theoretical texts (in English, in Estonian).
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
The student can develop individual research tools that would be relevant in academic, critical, publishing, etc. context of Estonia and the world.
