Course aims
Develop skills to translate fictional prose.
Brief description of the course
Fragments of different fictional texts of various style are translated. Individually all students translate a text of their own (10 pp à 1800 characters).
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
The student is familiar with the translational norms prevalent in the target culture and has had a chance to practise translation skills.
