Course aims

The course is meant for English and Culture minor students. The objective of the course is the usage of the contemporary English structures from the point of view of practical language.

Brief description of the course

A systematic overview of the structure of contemporary English. Topics: English parts of speech, terminology. Parts of speech: noun, article, adjective, adverb, verb, modal verb, pronoun, preposition, conjunction. Special attention is paid to the usage of phrasal verbs and particle expressions.
