Course aims

Support students to achieve B1-level of Estonian.

Brief description of the course

Grammar: Past passive, participles, i-plural, object cases, infinitive forms, modus obliquus. Topics: Trade, recycling, pollution, education, health, future home, safety and crime, traffic, literature, media, Estonian symbols.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- achieves the B1 level of Estonian language proficiency;
- understands important things on a familiar topic, such as work, school, leisure, etc;
- can compile a simple text on a familiar or interesting topic;
- can describe experiences, events, dreams and goals and briefly justify-explain his / her views and plans.
