Course aims
Support students to achieve B2.1-level of Estonian.
Brief description of the course
Learner outcomes include general academic vocabulary development, listening skill improvement in an academic setting, development of effective note-taking skills, and improved academic discussion and presentation skills. Students build skills through practice with a text and materials that use authentic academic content-based lectures and academic texts.
The course is designed to target the students whose command of Estonian equals to B1 level.

Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- has attained B2.1 level of Estonian;
- is able to use knowledge of the Estonian language in the context of the university, understands simpler professional publicist texts, is able to summarize, refer to texts, compile an overview, express one's opinion and use the necessary dictionaries.
