Course aims

Relate prior teaching experience and acquired knowledge of the reality of the school, to enable the student to develop the teachers skills, support students' ability to communicate with the other teachers, to support students in the planning of professional development.

Brief description of the course

The student participates in practice opening and closing conference, prepare a self-assessment and practice plan, student is familiar with school and school documentation, library, technical resources and their potential for the use of the Finnish language teaching

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- is able to take into account the learning and growing process, the planning of educational objectives, the public and the school curriculum,
- is able to plan future activities;
- is guided by the teacher ethics.
