Course aims
To create preconditions for the acquisition of linguistic competence in oral and written Finnish language on CEFR proficiency level B2.1.; to develop communication skills in a variety of situations of social life; complement professional linguistic skills and the develope an argumentation and debating skills.
Brief description of the course
Finnish language all skills (listening, reading, speaking, writing) according to the integrated development of CEFR language proficiency level B1.2 requirements.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- has knowledge and skills that correspond to 50% of the language proficiency level B2 of the Council of Europe;
- understands the texts about concrete and abstract topics and the main points of simpler and professional debate and is able to converse fluently and spontaneously with the native speaker;
- can create a clear and detailed text on several themes, to explain his point of view and analyze the pros and cons of this position.
