Course aims
To deepen the knowledge of the development, authors, and central works of the Finnish literature; to form the skill of associating the important events in the Finnish literature to the evolution of the language and culture studies.
Brief description of the course
The literal topics discussed at the lectures and seminars at the Finnish Institute and the studies under the Erasmus program.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
The primary knowledge of the vocabulary, structure, history and the speakers of a one Balto-Finnic or Finno-Ugric language or language group; the ability to compare the learned language to that of the Estonian or the Finnish.
