Course aims
To shape a general comprehension a Balto-Finnic or Finno-Ugric language or language group.
Brief description of the course
A review of vocabulary, structure, history and speakers of a Balto-Finnic or Finno-Ugric language or a language group in comparison to the Finnish or the Estonian language.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
The primary knowledge of the vocabulary, structure, history and the speakers of a one Balto-Finnic or Finno-Ugric language or language group; the ability to compare the learned language to that of the Estonian or the Finnish.
