Course aims
An overview of the grammatical structure of the Finnish language. Support of the acquisition of the Finnish language in oral and written form.
Brief description of the course
The phonological and morphological structure of the Finnish language, student is able to compare the structure of Finnish language with his/her native language, knows the phonetics, phonology, morphology, and morphophonology basic concepts.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
The student has a basic knowledge of the Finnish phonetics, phonology, and morphology. Student is able to compile simply oral and written texts.
