Course aims
To create possibilities for acquiring deeper knowledge and skills in one specific aspect of Estonian studies. To create opportunities for improving the skills of oral and written presentation.
Brief description of the course
The course focuses on some narrower aspects of Estonian studies and its subject and instructors vary year by year. It can focus for example on themes like „Baltic German cultural history“, „Russian culture in Estonia“, „Film Culture“, „Estonian art“. In the framework of this course the students who have achieved higher level of Estonian language skills can also choose a course in Estonian.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- has acquired deeper knowledge and skills in some specific aspect of Estonian studies;
- has improved his/her skills in oral and written presentation of the research results.
